DETROIT MEXICO CITY HONG KONG FRANKFURT LONDON

1981-TransNav incorporates as a subsidiary of Montreal based, FedNav, a leading provider of cargo transport and management services.

1983-TransNav is purchased from FedNav and begins operations in St. Clair Shores, MI under ownership of the Vreeken Family.

1984-A relationship was formed with several mold-makers in Marinha Grande, Portugal to design tools and build injection molds for the U.S. market.

1986-TransNav formed Intertecmo, Lda in Moita, Portugal to design and manage local injection mold building programs. The office moved to Mt. Clemens, MI to meet growing needs and created Technical Logistics International to handle commercial matters related to a Lockheed/Portuguese export credit program.

1989-TransNav moved to larger offices in Mt. Clemens as mold sales continued to grow.

1991-The Vreeken Family began molding activities in a new facility in Clinton Twp, MI. A partnership was formed with Feinwerktecknik of Austria

1992-All personnel were consolidated to the Clinton Twp molding facility

1995-A new and larger, facility in New Baltimore, MI housed the entire operation, molding/assembly and tooling.

1998-TransNav Mexico was created in Puebla, Mexico and primarily served Volkswagen de Mexico in the Finsa Industrial Park. Meanwhile in the United States,TransNav added their design staff along with all associated software and hardware.

1999-TransNav formed an exclusive partnership with Hornschuch AG of Weissbach, Germany to provide artificial leather roll goods for the North American automotive market.

2001-TransNav Technologies, Inc. moved into a new facility for molding and assembly operations.

2002-TransNav Mexico moved into a newly constructed and owned facility located in Cuautlancingo, Puebla.

2005-TransNav formed their manufacturing relationship with Hayco/Forson Ltd. in Hong Kong and mainland China.

2008-TransNav purchased Cricklewood Blvd facilities to consolidate distribution and open capacity for large press molding and tool making. TransNav Mexico took possession of a new 3300 ton molding machine and completed a building expansion.

2011-TransNav completes significant renovations and building expansions to its Cricklewood campus.  Several new large molding machines are placed on order.
