Need baby clothes, kid’s shoes, or a gift for the grandkids? Come on over to the Cares Crib located in Crick 1 at the north east corner of the building. There is something for every age. The prices are right too—free.

Cares Crib’s creation was a group effort by TransNav’s executive coordinator JoAnn Julian, HR generalists Jeffrey Lee and Natalie Szymberski who worked tirelessly to gather gently used items for the employee shop.  The eco-friendly store has everything from party dresses and shoes to coats employees are welcome to take home at no costs to them.

Recycling fashion is just smart. When you buy new clothes the high-price you pay goes mostly in designer’s pockets. Recycling keeps more money in your pocket. And, employees can contribute too.

Do you have items you no longer want or need? Instead of sending your well-loved things to your local thrift store why not give back to fellow employees. And now throughout August TransNav’s Care Crib is looking for school supplies like backpacks, lunch bags, notebooks, pencils and pens — anything your kids no longer need. For drop-off information contact JoAnn at 586 482-1799.

Care Crib’s grand opening was on Wednesday, June 20 and will now be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 am and 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm.  There will be new items weekly so come often.
