In early 2017, TransNav’s manufacturing operations in Danville, Kentucky completed the final stages of a 60,000 square foot addition to the existing production facility.  Designed for future business growth, the new operational footprint now totals over 94,000 square feet.  A 30 ton overhead crane suspends across the building to support large tonnage molding machines and six new shipping docks have been added for anticipated increased volumes.

To support new business, TransNav added three new injection molding machines in the second quarter of 2017 and have two additional machines on order for the first quarter of 2018.  All molding machines are 1000 tons or above.  Additional infrastructure will likely be needed for new launches in 2019 as well.

With new business underway and additional launches planned later this year, TransNav Kentucky expects to double the sales volume of just two years ago.  With many opportunities available in the South and Midwest, TransNav expects the Kentucky operation to continue to expand every year!
